What’s the Spoopathon?

The Spoopathon is a Halloween-inspired event to help Fu decide which scary games & activities she’s going to be playing around Halloween! Also, the holiday will be filled with a week of costumes, creative streams, and other bonus incentives!!

The event lasts from now until the end of stream on October 17th! Bonus time can be unlocked as well if we hit our big milestone! Games/incentives will be played the week of Halloween (and sometimes after too)!

Similar to last year, we have a big game milestone to work toward (Until Dawn Remastered!), along with points you can spend to unlock other games along the way! There are even wheel spins for extra spoopy time starting Oct. 1!

How does this all work?

All subs, resubs, bits and tips will translate into points! ($1/100bits = 1 point, 1 sub = 5 points, etc.) Points will automatically be added to your account for subs and bits, so you can add them yourself! Here are the relevant commands:

!points = will show you the point totals for each point reward option
!votes = how many points you currently have to spend
!vote [Game ID] [point amount] = put your points towards a game or wheel spin (refer below for game IDs) with the amount of points you want to use.

*Example: !vote LM3 5
*Points are saved so you can redeem them whenever to put them toward the option(s) of your choice!
*If you’re tipping, make sure to include the #GAMEID (ex. #LM3) in your tip message so the bot can automatically assign the proper points to the game of your choice!

What are the options to put points towards?

*If Granny gets met it will unlock an upgraded incentive goal!

How much to unlock each option?

Each wheel spin will be 15* points, and the other games will each be added whenever one of them hits their point goal!
*Lowered the points threshold for our final week!

Wheel Spins

There will be a wheel (or roulette) starting Oct. 1st with short options that will have to be done on stream IMMEDIATELY once spun. A wheel spin will occur every 20 points redeemed for one.

Wheel options include:

• Minecraft horror mod – 1 day or 1 death
• Pumpkin Hill – 1x
• Observation Duty – 1 level attempt
• Spooky’s Jump Scare Mansion – 50 floors
• Random itch.io horror game – 10 min
• Join the ritual
• One Room Nightmare – 1 puzzle
• Bring an animal on stream and pet it
• Bidoof hat – 10 min
• *And more!

SPOOPASUBATHON INFO

On the week of October 13th we are doing a Spoopathon-themed Subathon! This will add some extra incentives as well we multiples days of streams that can go up to 12 hours long per day! This is to help hit the remaining Spoopathon goals as we enter into the final week! 

This is the last opportunity to get points to hit Spoopathon goals! After it ends on Thursday evening (10/17), all games will be arranged to be played the week leading up to Halloween (and probably a bit after depending on how many things get hit)! You can always check your points in chat with !votes and use any that you currently have saved up as well!

How does the subathon work?

Each day starts at 5 hours and can go up to 12! I prefer to do healthy subathons, so we still get lots of time together, but still prioritize taking breaks for sleep and self care!
Once one day hits the max of 12 hours, that will open up the next day to continue the subathon! Anything past 12 hours will be added to the following day, up to 5 days total! (Sometime next year I’ll do an uncapped one when I have less going on.)

ADDING TIME
Every 10 New and/or Gifted Subs = 30 minutes
Every $30 in tips / 3000 bits = 30 minutes

Time will be added automatically any time either of the above gets met! Every time we add an hour to the timer I will also be doing a lottery draw to add another person to this year’s ritual!
(Not a bad ritual, it’s all in good fun)

Wheel spins are also now only 15 points and more things have been added to it! Also see reflected goals changed above for our sub milestones!
